"La vie en rose" - A musical evening with Marlene Dietrich and Edith Piaf in the wonderful ambience of the courtyard in front of Loft 18 by photographer Ruprecht Stempell at the Wachsfabrik art center.

Two icons shine in the dark times of the Second World War - and beyond. One from a middle-class Berlin family, the other, a child of Parisian street artists. Legend has it that they met in America in 1948 and although they couldn't seem more different, they developed a deep friendship, perhaps even more...

With this musical evening, Paula Götz and Gleb Tchepki invite you to explore the special connection between Marlene Dietrich and Edith Piaf. You can look forward to unforgettable chansons such as "Non, Je ne regrette rien" and "Ich weiß nicht zu wem ich gehöre", as well as texts that provide a deeper insight into the lives of the two world stars.

Paula Götz studied classical singing at the music academies in Dresden and Cologne and acting at the acting school of the Keller Köln. She has worked as a freelance singer and actress at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, the Staatsoperette Dresden, the Theater Aachen and is currently on stage for the production "Solo Sunny" at the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater Schwerin.

Gleb Tchepki studied jazz piano in Osnabrück. Since then he has worked as a pianist, theater musician and music teacher. He has worked at the Theater Osnabrück and can currently be seen in the play "Rettet den Kapitalismus" at the Theater der Keller in Cologne.
