Without chaos there is no creativity and both are the driving force behind new adventures, adventures that Lacrimas Profundere (Latin for shedding tears) have been able to experience in 34 countries so far, far away from the glittering LA dream cinemas. In addition to slots at Europe's biggest festivals such as Masters Of Rock, Wacken, Metal Gates, Baden in Blut, Greenfield, Pepsi Sziget, Summerbreeze, Mera Luna, Rock Harz, Rethymno Rocks and many more, the guys have earned their spurs touring with bands such as Apocalyptica, Wednesday13, Paradise Lost, Lacuna Coil, The 69 Eyes, Within Temptation and Amorphis.

The unconditional dedication to their own music, the passion to never give up despite numerous setbacks, even to carry on with countless curious, sometimes crazy stories, have enabled the Munich melancholics to survive several musical trends since their foundation in 1993 and to grow into one of the most innovative and successful German dark metal bands of the present day.

"Album of the month" in 'Metal Hammer', 'Orkus' and the American 'Dead Rhetoric', top 10 placements in other important magazines worldwide and every album in recent years in the TOP 40 of the German album charts are just some of the successes of the band's long history.

It is a luxury to take the freedom not to think, but to feel and only in this way can reviews such as "a mixture of HIM and MetalCore", or "Dimmu Borgir meets The Cure" come about. The band combines classic GothnRoll with elements of heavy metal, rock and doom in an exciting way, so much so that one of the albums featured none other than RICKY WARWICK (The Almighty, Thin Lizzy, Black Star Riders) as a guest composer.

The band's anthem "And God's Ocean" was not only covered by US Jackass star Bam Margera and Arch Enemy's Alissa White-Gluz, but was also used as background music in the ZDF Monday crime series "NACHTSCHICHT UND DAS TOTE MÄDCHEN".

So it's no wonder that they now have an impressive 60,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and 120,000 followers on Facebook.

Sold-out headlining shows, full houses wherever they play and new fans after every festival show. Finnish-based frontman Julian Larre is also responsible for this. The exceptional singer seems like a young mixture of Ville Valo, Oli Sykes and Corey Taylor, who never limits himself to "just" the stage and thus always ensures an energetic and exciting show. The foundation for this is laid by Dominik on drums, Oliver Nikolas on guitar and Ilker (ex Freedom Call) on bass.
