LADIES CRIME NIGHT in Cologne

"Murder is our profession" charity reading on the summer solstice in aid of LOBBY FÜR MÄDCHEN e. V

The summer solstice marks the longest day of the year - but on this evening it will be dark. In the vaulted cellar of the Christuskirche, shadows and suspense intensify as eight murderous sisters unleash their gripping stories.

"Read to the end" is the merciless principle of the Ladies Crime Night: musically rounded off with a murderous closing song and ukulele, the crime writers Myriane Angelowski, Nadine Buranaseda, Elsa Dix, Ulla Lessmann, Edith Niedieck, Christiane Nitsche-Costa, Regina Schleheck and Dagmar Maria Toschka bring their most thrilling scenes to the stage. The audience is immersed in stories full of mysterious crimes, unexpected twists and turns and gripping investigations - embedded in the mysterious atmosphere of the vaulted cellar.

Eight authors each read for six minutes from one of their stories - while the clock ticks relentlessly. When the time is up, a shot rings out and the author has to stop immediately. Then the next reader takes the stage ...

The evening will be hosted by Christiane Nitsche-Costa, who will not only guide you through the program with charm and curiosity, but will also elicit many a criminal detail from the authors. The Ladies Crime Night is a unique experience - look forward to the finest entertainment and suspense right up to the end.

The umbrella organization Mörderische Schwestern e. V. is an international network that has been promoting German-language crime fiction written by women on many levels for over 25 years. The association has more than 700 members in Germany, Austria and Switzerland - mainly female authors, but also female crime fiction enthusiasts and professionals from the book industry - in its 14 so-called regional groups.
