LaLeLu – a cappella comedy

For an incredible three decades, three men and a woman from Hamburg have been inspiring a large music and comedy fan base throughout Germany with their voices and boundless creativity alone.

LaLeLu, the unique a cappella comedy quartet from Hamburg, is celebrating its 30th stage anniversary in 2025, making it one of the few bands alongside the Rolling Stones with such an enduring success story! What began in 1995 in Hamburg at a semester party at the University of Music and Theater is currently one of the most entertaining German a cappella comedy acts.
Whether on a small cultural stage or in the Elbphilharmonie, whether with jazz, rock, pop, Schlager, opera, death metal,

folk songs or body percussion: the four North German vocal acrobats and thoroughbred musicians transform political satire, parody and unrestrained nonsense into musical delights without instruments and ensure boiling halls, sore laughing muscles and standing ovations every evening.

For the anniversary show, Jan, Tobi, Sanna and Frank will of course be pulling out all the stops from their large selection of seventeen full-length programs: they will be singing their greatest hits and favourite songs from three decades, as well as classics long thought lost and, of course...brand new songs too!
