Whether in horror films or in everyday life, in personal life or in social gatherings, in the dark, in confined spaces or in the face of the future, whether before job interviews or before dying, before intimacy, war, ghosts or the climate crisis: for some people, fear is a constant companion that makes life difficult - for others, it is a welcome adrenaline rush.
We experience fear in various forms and intensities. It is at the center of this night - as a social, political and individual phenomenon, as part of social developments and challenges, as an expression of communal insecurity, as a resource of power and money, but also as part of entertainment and pop culture.
In addition to discussion rounds and themed tours, there will be playful formats, workshops, readings and numerous experiments. The Long Night of Fear opens up various opportunities to get closer to the phenomenon of fear.
