Festival closing party of the "Leipzig denkt" 2024 festival with a courage slam, courage debating, reading, courage workshop, discussions and an invitation to individual tests of courage.

Does the world belong to the brave? How much courage do we want and should we allow? We set out on the trail of courage by philosophizing together. We open up the space to find our own courage. Are you brave enough to follow us?
Concentrated self-reflection, creative food for thought and exciting discussions await you.

21.30 - 22.30 (Schwalbennest): Veronika Reichl (Berlin): 25 functioning machines - reading and discussion.
What mechanism produces my decision? How does my will trigger my action? How do I summon up the courage to leave the house? Do I need the looks of others to lift me up? Do I have an essence? How and where? And what if I don't? - People are body-mind-spirit-psyche apparatuses. In twenty-five short prose texts, Veronika Reichl tells us how such machines work and how they organize willpower, decisions and courage, but also passivity. The reading will be followed by a discussion about the audience and their experiences with courage and decisions.

Richard Schut has been the question mark man at festivals such as re:publica, Sommerwerft and Ancient Trance for more than 10 years. With an intuitive way of asking questions, you will be given a personal challenge, a mixture of consciousness work, theater and fun and games. A little excursion away from everyday life.
