Society is divided, kebabs cost €8 and nasty new mosquitoes are now biting even more. The world is sinking into chaos and even Marie Kondo, the queen of order, is no longer tidying up. The only thing that can save us now is a big tub of ice cream and a romantic fireside DVD.

Nevertheless, Lara Ermer doesn't make herself too comfortable and settles the score - with herself if in doubt. Armed with a good pinch of charm, she addresses the important questions in life without burning her fingers. Why the hell are we so quick to become abusive in social discussions? If I'm right in any case - what's wrong with you? And who sweats more at a summer picnic: me or the cheese? The program is backed by waterproof research, the depths of the internet and a degree in psychology.

Comedy doesn't get any more serious than this. In Leicht entflammbar, the comedienne enjoys playing with fire: sometimes she delivers an entertaining ruckus, sometimes a subtle crackle that the audience can warm up to. So get the marshmallows ready, there's room for everyone at Lara Ermer's campfire - but don't let anyone get out their guitar and start singing Wonderwall!

Author, presenter and comedienne Lara Ermer has been writing for as long as she can remember. Even as a teenager, she ventured out of her quiet corner with her floral notebook and conquered her place on the stage. Over time, humor became more and more prominent in her performances.

Now she is presenting her second full-length solo program Leicht entflammbar. Ermer succeeds in talking humorously about supposed taboos and making even complex topics accessible in a pointed way. Ermer always bases the social references in her art on her irrepressible curiosity and solid facts. She often reads stacks of studies for inspiration - and then turns them into entertainment so that her audience doesn't have to struggle through the dry deserts of science themselves. In her books and on stage, this results in a perspective that is always wide awake, relevant and to the point.

Ermer's first book Ein offenes Buch - Von idealen Körpern, perfektm Sex und anderen Mythen was published in 2021 and was a surprise success. In 2024, she teamed up with entertainer Bodo Wartke to create a highly acclaimed social media hit on the topic of "dickpics". Lara Ermer regularly appears on TV and radio as well as in podcasts and other online formats.

Her work has won her the 2024 German Cabaret Award, among others.
