Heavy metal meets cheerfulness and anger ignites hoarseness. This, or something similar, is how you could describe the four guys from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. However, there can be no talk of tired hoarseness here, as the four gentlemen celebrated their twentieth stage anniversary in 2021. A long time in which the band has managed to find and create its very own sound. With their roots in punk rock, a lot of things end up in the musical pot of the Northern Lights, creating an explosive mixture of hope and anger without losing sight of confidence.
On 20.09.2024, the band will release the first musical sign of life in the direction of new music with their new single "Eine Ewigkeit zurück" and thus into an exciting year 2025 - you can be curious.

The Sonic Monsters deliver the message of their songs loud, fast, melodic and with a lot of dedication. At least judging by the opinions of their rehearsal room neighbors and fans...
"There are too many ideas in my head that want to get out" was Christoph and Felix's motivation for renting a rehearsal room and working on songs together again after a long break. It didn't take much convincing to get their friend Robert on board, but the prospect of a fridge in the rehearsal room also provided motivation. Since the formation, a repertoire has been built up, an EP, two singles and a video recorded. During the pandemic, the band recognized the possibilities of live streaming and organized a virtual living room concert with the support of Leipzig's event technology community. The search for gigs is ongoing. The strings are glowing. The rehearsal room fridge is full. The second EP is in the works.
