Music theater for children
Meeting point: Counter in the Sylvia Wynter Foyer

For all beginning readers and first graders
With LasLesLies!, the ensemble for new music theater DieOrdnungDerDinge is developing a music theater for children that is musically dedicated to reading and invites children to join in.
At five audio-visual stations, performers Cathrin Romeis, Vera Kardos and Iñigo Giner Miranda guide their young audience to books that are full of sound and tell fantastic stories. Together with the children, they decipher hieroglyphics, trace the creation of secret characters and find a delicious salad of letters and words in the fog that still needs to be sorted.
To this end, DieOrdnungDerDinge develops a playful experimental laboratory that brings oversized books to life. With contemporary music and humorous, almost always true stories, the interactive musical theater piece revolves for an hour around the joy of reading, the genesis of the written word and the fascinating worlds hidden between two book covers.
