Last Night of Klangvokal

In the organizer's words:

Even all good things come to an end: on the last concert evening of the 17th KLANGVOKAL Music Festival Dortmund, a program was developed with numerous Dortmund musicians that is as colourful as the festival season itself. The Philharmonic Choir of the Dortmunder Musikverein will present opera choruses by Piero Mascagni and Giuseppe Verdi and the University Choir of the TU Dortmund will perform excerpts from Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana", one of the most famous choral works. In the second part, the Dortmund Choir Academy's youth concert choir, the Vocal Crew and NN will provide the atmosphere with pop arrangements. The audience can often sing along to their heart's content. The Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra will provide the special sound for the contributions from classical to pop, until the 2025 festival finally comes to an end with a blissful smile when the last applause dies away.
