In close collaboration with Munich rapper Waseem, young participants and artists from joint "Word Up!" workshops, the "München OEZ erinnern" initiative has produced a song and a music video that commemorates those murdered in the right-wing terrorist attack on the Olympic shopping center in Munich. In the late-night real talk, author and podcaster Burak Yılmaz talks to relatives of the victims of the attack about their struggles and questions: What can an appropriate commemoration look like? What responsibility do politicians, the police and society have? How can spaces for exchange and reappraisal be created? Together with the initiative and artists involved in the "Word-Up" workshops, we will also talk about the potential of music and art in the culture of remembrance - the song will of course also be performed!

"München OEZ erinnern!" is an initiative of relatives, survivors and supporters who want to recall and remember the attack on 22.7.2016 at the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum (OEZ) in Munich. The names of the nine victims must not be forgotten. The fact that the attack was a case of right-wing terror, anti-Muslim racism and antiziganism must no longer be concealed. 2025 marks the ninth anniversary of the right-wing terrorist attack at the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum (OEZ) in Munich. We remember: Armela Segashi, Can Leyla, Dijamant Zabërgja, Giuliano Kollmann, Hüseyin Dayıcık, Roberto Rafael, Sabine S., Selçuk Kılıç and Sevda Dağda.
