"Lateinamerika, was geht?": Illegale Ökonomien

In the fifth and final event of our "Latin America, What's happening?" series, we will focus on economía ilegal in the context of the resurgence of extractivism as a development model in Latin America (neo-extractivism).

The event will not only address some of the main dynamics of extractivism (dependence on primary commodity exports, civil society resistance, ecological consequences, etc.), but also shed light on the idea of the "illegal economy" from different perspectives.
