Laura Makenna: Slam it! poetry slam

In the organizer's words:

No filter, no false bottom - just mic, lyrics and pure emotion. SLAM IT! artists deliver a duel of words - newcomers versus professionals - sometimes quiet, sometimes loud, sometimes lively or quiet, but always free and poetic. The stage shakes when language comes alive.

The poetry slam combines creative forms of expression and invites the audience to be part of an interactive experience. Seven artists, two finalists, one showdown. Only the applause will reveal who is the winner at the end.
