LAVA - The new city festival format from the people behind the MELT Festival

With LAVA, the team behind the MELT Festival presents a new festival format that will shake up the Berlin summer - and at the same time give the starting signal for something completely new. The premiere of LAVA will take place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, transforming the open-air grounds of the RSO Berlin into a space between club-cultural intimacy and the immersive energy of a festival.

Sunday belongs to LAVA - a platform for young ravers and lovers of electronic pop and dance music. Between 10:00 and 22:00, visitors can expect a carefully curated program that blurs the boundaries between internet culture, club music and pop cultural innovation with an exciting mix of hyper-pop, trance, hard groove and avant-pop. The line-up includes the French duo ascendant vierge, who are setting new standards for club music with epic Eurodance, operatic vocals and apocalyptic pathos, and horsegiirL, whose ironically charged high energy sets oscillate between hard techno and dance pop. Other exceptional talents such as camoufly, Charlotte Plank, Coco Cobra, Lolahol, lil london, dj g2g, Nick Cheo, Peterparker69, ⌭ IceMorph ⌬, ICYKOF create a sound cosmos that brings fresh impulses to electronic music.

LAVA not only celebrates the summer, but also marks a transition: from the internationally renowned MELT Festival to new, intimate formats with their own identity - but the same attitude. The mission remains the same: carefully curated avant pop & DJ culture, international artists, a diverse audience and an experience to remember.

The RSO Valley in Berlin provides the perfect backdrop for this. With its urban character, bold sound systems and central location, the area will be the stage for these two special kick-off parties in the open air. This is where raw club aesthetics meet a summer festival feeling - in the middle of the city.

LAVA is more than just a classic club night: eight to twelve hours of finely curated music from international artists, food stands, chill-out areas and an atmosphere that focuses on connection, exchange and community. Next year, the team is already thinking bigger - but 2025 will remain deliberately intimate. Tickets are available at community-friendly prices from €21.
