LBT

Live techno. Purely acoustic with piano, bass and drums, realized without computers or synthesizers. From lyrical to minimal, from deep to industrial: LBT's sound is multi-faceted and is constantly driven forward by a pulsating bass drum. Their music is an inward journey that invites you to dream and dance ecstatically in equal measure. Having grown up with modern jazz, the trio takes its true love seriously: improvisation. You can hear delicate phrasing on the piano or its strings prepared with guitar picks, a beautifully bowed or almost chopped up bass and drums that exhaust everything from subtle rustling to powerful grooves.

The Sonic Art Collective has developed its own instrument for its concerts: The Sonic Suit is a fashion-tech costume equipped with light and motion sensors and various textile surfaces that become sound bodies with recording microphones.

Superhuman SON wears the suit on stage, triggers the sensors and microphones through dance and movement and supplies her partner Aby 0.1 with signals, which he processes into a technoid sound collage on the computer. The duo combines different styles of electronic music and mixes them with elements of pop, jazz and free music. The program ranges from composed arrangements to live improvisations.

The aim is to push the boundaries of a traditional concert and bring together the worlds of art and technology in an unforgettable performance.
