13-year-old Ahmed is a good and conscientious student who, under the fateful influence of a mentor, quickly turns into a religious fundamentalist. Instigated by his conspiracy theories, Ahmed commits an act of violence against his teacher and ends up in prison. His obdurate behavior increasingly isolates him from those around him.

With the emphatic, non-judgmental interest that characterizes their films, the filmmakers follow the fatal paths of the young fanatic.
