Before Figaro can finally celebrate his wedding, a few gentlemen have to be tricked. Mozart's classic with a classic look.

Count Almaviva is on the prowl. The object of his latest desire: Susanna, his wife's chambermaid and the fiancée of his valet Figaro. Shortly before the wedding, the young couple must summon up all their ingenuity to elude Susanna from the erotic advances of her aristocratic employer - turbulence is inevitable!

Based on a scandalous comedy by Beaumarchais, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his congenial librettist Lorenzo da Ponte created a rousing and lively ensemble piece in their first collaboration, the music of which has lost none of its freshness to this day.
