Leavs & Salvana / Sorely Missed

In the organizer's words:

Appearing on the scene in 2022 with their first EP, SALVANA have already made quite a splash: with their shoegazey indie rock, the four musicians from Catalonia were quickly able to secure tours throughout Spain, support shows for acts such as Pile, Cloakroom and Trentemøller and even an appearance on Spanish television. In 2025, SALVANA will embark on a European tour, bringing with them not only the songs from their first LP, which will be released in September, but also the wonderful LEAVS.

LEAVS could be described as a Catalonian supergroup. Consisting of members of various outstanding Catalan post-hardcore, emo, punk and instrumental rock bands from the premium DIY collective Saltamarges, LEAVS deliver a mixture of shoegaze and dreampop on their debut album "Natura Universal". Spherical, restless and with clearly audible echoes from their own emo/punk past.

The show will be opened by SORELY MISSED and we couldn't have wished for a better addition to this show. With their first single "Hearts in Race", released in November, the Darmstadt band have given us a first taste of their emo rock, which, as is typical of the genre, places great emphasis on introspective lyrics and yet is not too subtle to garnish them with catchy indie rock elements.
