A group of friends who tend the garden of the Liebermann villa... Director Alexa Karolinski (screenwriter of UNORTHODOX) interviewed family members, friends, historians and casual acquaintances and went in search of clues with her camera in Berlin. She follows the manifold signs of life, rituals and habits to capture how personal memory and collective history, inherited trauma and the lived present interact.
