"Legacy" - oboe concerto and homage to Bach with the Bläserphilharmonie Aachen

Under the direction of Lars Corijn, the Bläserphilharmonie presents its program entitled "Legacy". You can look forward to a lively evening full of unexpected leaps in music history.

The Bläserphilharmonie Aachen was founded in 2013 by students of RWTH Aachen University and, despite its still young orchestral history, can already look back on great successes, such as winning a gold medal with distinction twice at the WMC in Kerkrade, the World Championships for Wind Music, in 2017 and 2022. The orchestra mainly plays original music from symphonic-concertante wind music. This semester's program includes works by Jan Van der Roost, Sander von Dorst, Oscar Navarro, Johan de Meij and Omar Thomas.
