"Leipzig liest" beim ADFC: rette rette Fahrradkette

Ana and Ida cycle from their home in the Allgäu region to the vast expanses of Central Asia. Driven by irrepressible curiosity, the two artists cover over 15,000 kilometers through 16 countries. They fight their way over snow-covered passes in Kyrgyzstan, dance with Uzbek bridal couples and shake off an Iranian police escort with soft ice cream - all while overcoming rough terrain, adverse weather and cultural barriers. In their book about the bike trip. During the trip, they decide to turn it into a fundraising campaign and "save save bike chain" is born. With every kilometer, they raise money for Sea-Watch, an organization that campaigns for sea rescue.
