The Berlin-based publishing house duotincta presents three authors: Peter Friedrich will read from his debut novel "Kafkarabesken oder die Ermittlung", Sven Heuchert from his new short story collection "Im Land südlich der Sieg. Stories" and the Leipzig author Kathrin Wildenberger, who will host the publishing evening, will also read from Birgit Rabisch's novel "Tod der Autorin".

Peter Friedrich "Kafkarabesken or The Investigations"
An investigator who has no choice: The mysterious case of the missing Franz K. has been assigned to him. The investigating authority expects results from him, but he is in danger of getting lost in the labyrinth of bizarre stories that his investigations bring to light. All loose ends, but they all seem to be interwoven in a strange way.
And then there are the colleagues, the others - the ones who always think something of you. He is perhaps even more afraid of their judgment than that of the investigating authority.
Peter Friedrich's debut novel is about marginalized, searching, failing, angry and defenceless people and an investigator full of shame and guilt. It is about nothing less than the game of life: a kaleidoscope of sparkling shreds, of tattered sparks.

Birgit Rabisch "Death of the Author"
On the occasion of her seventieth birthday, the author invites the main characters of her eleven novels to a celebratory dinner. During the dinner conversations, she explores what has shaped her life and writing. Of course, love plays the leading role: erotic love, parental love, the love of children - in both success and failure. But she has also inscribed her examination of feminism and motherhood, genetic engineering and optimized reproduction, violence in politics and her murderous family past into her novel characters. Now she is trying to decipher her life from her texts and, with the help of her literary fictions, is creating a highly vivid version of her biography.
The personal yet universal questions addressed in the author's Death make this an entertaining and enriching read, and not just for fans of Rabisch's work.
