Leipzig liest – Leipziger offene Bühne 2025

The desire to write unites all those who appear here spontaneously or planned on the open stage.

On 29.03.2025 from 21:00 it's finally time again. The Leipzig Open Stage opens its curtain. This time, this already legendary event will once again take place at Horns Erben.
Every young author is invited to give a (spontaneous) insight into their young literary work. The Federal Association of Young Authors (BVjA) is organizing a spontaneous reading in which every young author can present a text. The reading time is limited to seven minutes per person. The "BVjA Stage Free Prize 2025" is up for grabs. It will be a funny, contemplative, but above all a varied evening in which only one thing is certain: people will read until they drop and, above all, spontaneously. Visitors can expect an unusual and spontaneous reading with a very special surprise factor. The audience has a say here. Leipzig has rarely seen such a young and innovative (workshop) reading. Anyone can practice in front of an audience.

If you want to read, simply arrive on time and bring your text with you. There is no need to register in advance. This is a spontaneous reading.
