Leonora Carrington is one of the most highly traded surrealist artists in the world.
The film shows Leonora's (played by OLIVIA VINALL) journey from the South of France to exile in the Mexican jungle, where she finds her artistic voice and herself. Along the way, she is accompanied by her lover Max Ernst (played by ALEXANDER SCHEER), André Breton, Salvador Dalí and many more. - a breathtaking and inspiring story of an artist who is still far too unknown!
