Welcome to a guided tour around Leipzig's traditional Christmas market

As you walk through one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany, you will learn more about the history of Christmas and what Christmas stollen is all about. You will also learn more about Leipzig's famous personalities, such as Johann Sebastian Bach and his Christmas Oratorio. The tour takes you past numerous traditional stalls, the Christmas fir tree visible from all directions and an eight-metre-high Christmas pyramid. You will be captivated by the magic of Christmas as you pass through the festively decorated arcades.

On the tour, you will not only discover the Christmas market and the city, but also its culinary highlights. Enjoy two mulled wines during the tour and taste the famous Pulsnitz gingerbread - a local specialty that perfectly matches the festive atmosphere. The popular children's mug, which has become a collector's item, is yours to keep after the mulled wine.
