LENER - Between departure and abyss

When the city slowly blurs in the rear-view mirror and the dust dances on the country road, LENER's soundtrack begins: raw, honest, poetic. Her songs sound like flickering sketches of a generation between self-optimization and loss of control - somewhere between grunge, indie and songwriter intimacy.

With roots in alternative grunge, Lener weaves raw guitars, fragile harmonies and lyrical observations into a sound reminiscent of Courtney Barnett and Patti Smith - edgy, emotional, without filters.

Sometimes powerful like Josh Homme, sometimes quirky and elegant like St. Vincent - and always with a heart made of sharpie and sketch paper.

Whether in an open barn door on the outskirts of Freising or on stage in the middle of the city: Lener observes, collects, transforms. And in the process creates songs that seem like comic oracles - full of doubt, tenderness and defiance.

For fans of indie, grunge and honest songwriting. For everyone who is still awake at night. For all those who believe that music doesn't have to be perfect to be true.
