The performance LesHéritier⋅x is a trio with the dancers Évo Mine Lambillon and Pierre Piton and the Renaissance flutist and electronic musician Stélios Lazarou. The performance is based on Orchésographie (1588), the first dance manual by Thoinot Arbeau, and combines historical dances such as Pavane and Gaillarde with contemporary choreographic and musical interpretation. Renaissance sounds, polyphonic chants and electronic experiments merge into a sound laboratory that brings the past into the present. The dances unfold beyond rigid rules and explore bodies, archetypes and transformations. The result is a space that renegotiates our relationship to our cultural heritage and celebrates our connection to life.
