What exactly is typical of Germany and the people who live there? What was invented here and what values are important for living together? Martin Verg has interviewed many young and old people and selected 100 terms, some funny, some serious, with which he sends us on an exciting journey of discovery through time and country, at the end of which we will know a whole lot more about Advent wreaths, jelly bears, Mensch-ärgere-dich-nicht games, revolutions, water wings and the economic miracle!

Martin Verg is an author, journalist and presenter. With a degree in history, he was editor-in-chief of the children's magazine GEOlino for more than ten years. To this day, he mainly and preferably writes for young people. Sometimes quirky thrillers, sometimes non-fiction.
