In the organizer's words:

Nektarios Vlachopoulos has two passions and at Reading for Beer he gets to live out both of them!

He competes with a star guest in each edition. And he reads the texts you bring along! Whether it's Schiller, Korean vacuum cleaner instructions or your own diary: we accept any challenge.

After each round, the audience decides which was better: the text or the presentation. If the text wins, the person who brought it gets a beer (non-alcoholic if you like). If the presentation wins, the person on stage gets a drink. What could possibly go wrong?
