Reading with Ingrid Müller-Münch

The Düsseldorf "Majdanek Trial", in which SS women were first tried before a German court, lasted five and a half years. Shortly after the verdict was announced in 1981, journalist Ingrid Müller-Münch wrote a book about these female concentration camp guards. Now - in the face of increasing right-wing extremism - she has revised and updated this book. Her conclusion: the trial at the time failed and was bound to fail. She will talk about why at her reading and read from her portraits of the brutal guards.
