In the organizer's words:
On the day of the book burning on May 10, we read and sing against forgetting. We will revive works that were burned by the Nazis as "un-German".
The literary program will be presented by the audio book and dubbing actors Anke Reitzenstein, Martina Treger and Luise Helm.
The event will be complemented by a musical program by Die Helm & der Weller. They will perform songs from the 1920s and 1930s by Berlin artists who were persecuted by the Nazis.
The day is organized by dubbing artist and politician Anne Helm, who will also lead through the program.
The event is free of charge and barrier-free.
