Jakob comes from Saxony, where he fights against the right and hatred. In his book "Unter Nazis. Jung, ostdeutsch, gegen Rechts" (Young, East German, against the right), he talks about his attempts to make the other face of Saxony visible: It stands for tolerance, anti-racism and democracy. He wants to reveal the small terror in everyday life, but also point out structures that make it far too easy for the right and does not spare the police and local politics from criticism. "I hope he doesn't take much more air." Or: "Punch him in the face straight away." Insults, open hatred and threats of violence of this kind are part of Jakob Springfeld's everyday life. The 20-year-old is one of the young people in Saxony who are politically active on the left. The young author fights against the right, against hatred and also against his fear. Giving up is out of the question for him. He talks about his attempts to make the other face of Saxony visible: It stands for tolerance, anti-racism and democracy. He wants to expose the small terror in everyday life, but also point out structures that make it far too easy for right-wing pawn catchers and does not spare the police and local politics from criticism.
