Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt, born in Kassel in 1956, stepped onto the stage of the local municipal theater at the age of 15. From then on, he knew that he wanted to do "something with entertainment" and attended the University of Television and Film. As a TV producer, he won numerous awards, spent years on the board of Axel Springer AG and ProSieben-Sat.1 and held a professorship at the Hamburg Media School. He is also known to an audience of millions as the host of over 1,000 broadcasts of the "NDR Talk Show".
