5th Munich reading in a private garden on Sunday, July 21 - a cooperation with the Mohr-Villa

Free admission! Professional speakers read in private gardens!

New this year: musicians will also be performing in the gardens for the first time!

Why not - a reading in the countryside, accessible to everyone free of charge and without advance booking. In the gardens of the neighborhood. At a high artistic level. This is what journalist Ursula Trischler thought and then began to organize together with many volunteers. And so the "Munich Garden Reading" is being held for the fifth time this year. There is a special feature for this year's anniversary: all readings will be accompanied by music for the first time. Musicians will also be performing in each garden.

The lecturers are professionals and work for Bavarian radio, universities, theaters and cabarets, among others. Author, topic, poetry or prose - and also how the musicians contribute - nothing is predetermined at the Munich reading in the private garden. The artists are free to decide how they want to play their part. This makes every garden reading a unique experience.

The gardens are not seated, there is no catering. As a guest, simply bring your own cushions, picnic blankets and drinks (no glasses, please). Speaking of bringing your own: please also return the empty bottles 😉
