The award-winning French bestselling author Marie Darrieussecq reads from her novel biography "Hiersein ist herrlich. The Life of Paula Modersohn-Becker", which was originally written on the occasion of the major Paula Modersohn-Becker exhibition in Paris in 2016.
Just as the author and psychoanalyst felt the urge to write and tell stories, the painter strove for deep expressiveness and independence in her artistic work. An exciting encounter!
The reading will be held in French with German translation.
