Lesung Omas for Future

In the organizer's words:

A regional group of Grannies for Future has existed in Recklinghausen for over a year now.

There is now also a "manifesto" for the nationwide movement: "Omas for Future - Handeln. For the love of life" - written by the founder of the initiative Cordula Weimann.

On Tuesday, 20.05.25, Ms. Weimann will also come to Recklinghausen and present her book live in the Altstadtschmiede.

Weimann presents the aims and activities of the movement in an active and emphatic manner. She encourages women of her generation in particular to actively bring about change on both a small and large scale. In times of change, the knowledge, thinking, feeling and foresight of dynamic women over 50 is a valuable corrective. Weimann addresses what goes wrong when we sacrifice our earth for money, and shows what inner quality of life we gain when we prioritize the two crucial currencies of the world: healthy food and genuine relationships. Because the more we live in harmony with nature and our fellow human beings, the healthier and happier we are.
