If you want to get to know fascinating trees and their stories, you don't have to disappear deep into the forest. In the city, a step outside your own front door is often enough. Here you can encounter mighty giants, coveted exotics and ancient witnesses to history.

For her book "Ambassadors of Life. What trees in cities tell us", Caroline Ring traveled across Germany to visit the most interesting and important urban trees and tell their stories.

On March 11, we are inviting the author to our 4th BaumSalon to listen to these stories and talk together about the importance of our urban trees for a liveable and weatherproof Berlin.
