Lesung: „Trialog – Wie wir über Israel und Palästina sprechen“

Together, the Jewish-Palestinian duo Jouanna Hassoun and Shai Hoffmann have been traveling from school to school across Germany since 2023 for their "Trialog" project to talk about the war, the current escalation in Israel and Palestine and the impact on Muslim and Jewish life in Germany. In April, the two will return to the Hanseatic city from Berlin at the invitation of the Bremen Council for Integration.

In their book "Trialog - Wie wir über Israel und Palästina sprechen" ("Trialog - How we talk about Israel and Palestine"), the two report on their experiences and perspectives, which find space in a multi-perspective dialog. Instead of advocating one-sided positions, they invite us to examine the facets of this topic together.

On December 4, the Bremen Council for Integration hosted a reading at the Europapunkt. We were overwhelmed by the great demand: With 60 participants, the event was quickly fully booked, and after the report in the Weser-Kurier, we unfortunately had to cancel 40 other interested parties. We are therefore repeating the reading - this time on a larger scale with 200 seats in the ballroom of the Bremen Parliament to enable everyone to attend.

We would be delighted to receive coverage in order to reach people in Bremen, Bremerhaven and the surrounding area. The great demand shows how important the topic is and how great the need for exchange remains.

The event offers a space for respectful exchange and new insights. We would also be very pleased about your participation and perspective at this reading!
