Lesung und Gespräch: Jürgen Wiebicke – Erste Hilfe für Demokratie-Retter

Current political and social events make it clear that our liberal democracy is increasingly under threat. Right-wing extremist MPs and sympathizers no longer have any inhibitions about openly expressing their views, and they are driving the democratic forces before them. Democracy as a form of government and a way of life can no longer be taken for granted, but must be fought for again and again.

So how can we defend our democracy and open society - even beyond the polling booth and large-scale demonstrations?

On this evening, journalist and philosopher Jürgen Wiebicke will read from his latest book "First Aid for Democracy Saviors" and provide answers to this question as well as handy tips and practicable rules that can be integrated into everyday life. His lecture is also an encouragement for each individual to actively stand up for the values of society.
