In the non-fiction book "Esther's Traces", Benet Lehmann explores the story of Shoah survivor Esther Bejarano and her fight against right-wing extremism. What role does the legacy of contemporary witnesses play? Who remembers whom and why? What happened in my own family and how can I research it? And: Does a culture of remembrance help against rising anti-Semitism and racism?

Benet Lehmann will read excerpts from "Esther's Traces" and talk about these questions with Anton Sefkow, the grandson of Esther Bejarano.
