The current exhibition at the PalaisPopulaire, It's Just a Matter of Time. Deutsche Bank Collection in Dialogue, deals with the different temporalities that buildings, objects and narratives have absorbed and carried within them over the centuries. Our stories, too, are never free from the narratives of others and cannot be viewed in isolation from the past. This often projects painfully into our present. In our literature series with Katharina von Uslar and Edgar Rai, literary works are presented in which different levels of time merge with one another and in which subjective stories that are very different from one another can be true at the same time.
