Let It Be Friendship

In the organizer's words:

"Friendship is a radical practice of care and responsibility - for others and for the world that surrounds us. It is an act of resistance that is both political and ethical." (Hedva, quoted from Castro Varela/Oghalai, 2023)

In the interdisciplinary performance project "Let it be friendship", people met over several weekends to encounter each other through drawing, writing and dancing. Without a set goal, they explored the many facets of friendship that unfold in the creative process. The result can now be seen on stage.

A performance that invites you to reflect, sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly:
Because friendshipis more than just a social bond - it embodies closeness, solidarity and mutual support. With "Let it be friendship", we want to show how these relationships enrich not only the individual, but also our society - and how friendshipscan show us new ways of working together.
