In the exhibition "LET THERE BE LIGHT" Marion Blume, Nora Reitelshöfer and Florian Clemens Meier show current jewelry works. The artists study in Prof. Karen Pontoppidan's Jewelry & Appliance class.

Hardly any object is as close to the body as jewelry.

Marion Blume is particularly interested in the relationship between jewelry and the body, especially the moment in which wearing influences the shape and design of the piece of jewelry. The movement of the body can be seen as a performative act that constantly reshapes the work in an unstoppable and irretrievable process. For Marion Blume, this change is something valuable and necessary; only through constant transformation can something new emerge and develop.

Nora Reitelshöfer's artistic work combines socio-political, psychological and social themes in the form of jewelry, body-related objects and table objects that serve as a means of communication. With clear forms and reduced design, she creates works that stimulate reflection, arouse emotions and question social norms. Her aim is to promote dialog, broaden perspectives and enable a critical examination of relevant issues.

Florian Clemens Meier's works deal with the remnants of urban societies. On the one hand, the process of "urban mining" serves Florian Clemens Meier as inspiration; on the other hand, the collection of raw materials also results in an examination of material cultures and consumer societies, which are reflected in the content of the works.
