LETO (Hamburg)
LETO have been making German-language post-punk since 2015. The safe post-punk trail that bands such as TURBOSTAAT, LOVE A and CAPTAIN PLANET have trudged through the musical landscape for years is still a comfortable one. However, LETO's third album "Leben und tot" (Life and Death) is more powerful than ever before, screaming their hearts out in emo and post-hardcore style. LETO's metaphorical lyrics demand a lot from the listener, but are packaged in hooky song structures that never make you lose LETO. LETO are known for energetic and emotional shows - somewhere between pogoing, stomping heels and insistent head-nodding.
