Let's Swing! Eine Zeitreise in die 1930er mit der Uni Big Band Stuttgart

From the 1930s to the 1950s, the big bands of Glenn Miller and Count Basie drew people to the dance floor. Today, the Uni Big Band Stuttgart interprets the hits of these bands. Well-known classics such as "Chattanooga Choo Choo" and "In the Mood" invite you to tap and dance along.

The Uni Big Band Stuttgart plays under the musical direction of Alexander Bühl, winner of the 2018 Baden-Württemberg State Jazz Prize.
It performs in its original line-up with saxophones in various sizes, trumpets, trombones and a four-piece rhythm section.

A special highlight is the band's female singer.

If you feel like it, you can start at 18:30 with a taster dance course from Swing Kultur Stuttgart. From 19:45, the Uni Big Band Stuttgart will provide the right sound for dancing on.
