LETZ-ZEP | UK`S MOST AUTHENTIC LED ZEPPELIN TRIBUTE BAND

On board the LETZ-ZEP airship, it smells of all kinds of rock-historical aviation fuel: fresh back from Brazil, New Zealand and Australia, LETZ-ZEP's fourth Dresden revelation is coming up in 2025 - the world's most authentic Led Zeppelin tribute band starts the engines of its time-travel machine to the most sonorous sound works of Messrs Page, Plant, Jones and Bonham.

With flight captain Billy Kulke on the microphone and guitar officer Andy Gray (photo), the band travels back in sound and outfit to the mid-1970s, to the time of "The Song remains the same". Anyone who has listened to the legendary live double album up and down should close their eyes and enjoy the duck skin that quickly sets in, note for note.

New face on keys and bass: As mystical and steamrolling as John Paul Jones in his day, Toby Sadler has been the new man on keys and bass for LETZ-ZEP since September 2024. Toby Sadler is anything but a blank slate in the British rock empire. In the 1980s, he played with Jason Bonham's band AIRRACE as support for DEF LEPPARD, AC/DC and QUEEN ("The Works Tour"). At this time, none other than the tough Led Zeppelin manager Peter Grant attested that he was damn close to John Paul Jones in terms of sound and virtuosity. This is precisely why similarly pithy heavyweights such as Janick Gers from IRON MAIDEN, Brian Howe from BAD COMPANY or Ian Gillan from DEEP PURPLE are only too happy to be accompanied by Toby Sadler on their solo studio excursions ...

Let's move on: Just 21-year-old Jake Blackwell, son of British drummer Chris Blackwell, provides thunderous pressure on the drums. He in turn stepped into the rhythm irons for Sir Robert Plant in the 1980s and 1990s and even contributed a few songs to Plant's solo albums "Now and Zen", "Manic Nirvana" and "Fate of Nations" as a composer.

LETZ-ZEP is not a nostalgia event, but a musical revolt against the ravages of time. Billy Kulke & Co. cover almost the entire Led Zeppelin music catalog and regularly add one or two sound gems to their concert setlist. The band's performance conveys an authentic impression of the work of the British rock icons and delights riff newcomers and scene veterans alike. Only a few tribute bands manage to come so close to their role models in terms of show, sound and outfit.

It doesn't get any better than this: Sir Robert Plant himself was extremely impressed after a flying visit to LETZ-ZEP. His delighted "I walked in - I saw me" comment is like an accolade complete with icing on the cake. Especially when you consider that the Goliath with the lion's mane usually doesn't leave a good hair on other rock stars. David Coverdale from Whitesnake, for example, can tell you (more than) a thing or two about it ...

All in all: no other tribute band in the world has more authenticity and closeness to Led Zeppelin - for this reason alone, LETZ-ZEP are an absolute must for fans!
