With Francis Alÿs - Kids Take Over, the Museum Ludwig presents an extraordinary exhibition in which children take center stage. The internationally renowned artist Francis Alÿs has had major solo exhibitions at MoMA in New York, the Tate in London and numerous museums, including Houston, Shanghai, Mexico City, Basel and the 2022 Venice Biennale. In 2023, he received the Wolfgang Hahn Prize from the Gesellschaft für Moderne Kunst at the Museum Ludwig.

30 video works and paintings from his series Children's Games, featuring children at play from all over the world, can now be seen at the Museum Ludwig. An outreach project with children from Cologne adds a participatory dimension to this presentation.
