Souleymane races through the crowded streets of Paris on his bicycle. The young Guinean is working illegally as a food courier and wants to apply for asylum in France. He still has two days to prepare for the important interview. A race against time begins. Boris Lojkine's L'Histoire de Souleymane is a gripping drama about migration and sans-papiers in the age of the gig economy. Abou Sangare was awarded Best Actor in a Leading Role in Cannes for his impressive performance.
