Dialogue between light art and cello

Leaving everyday life behind, escaping from boundaries, experiencing ecstasy and stepping out of oneself: The urge to transcend the boundaries of the everyday self is probably as old as humanity itself. Together with light artist Jörg Becker, cellist Christina Meißner has created a concert experience that opens up a path to ecstasy and blurs the past, present and future.

The old chants of Hildegard von Bingen are transferred to the cello of Christina Meißner and combined with new works by John Palmer. The element of light forms a bridge to touch and transformation; as another universal language, it picks up on the mood of the music and supports spiritual experiences.
