Julia, Nathalie and Birgit are best friends and confide their most intimate secrets to each other. Julia's sex life lies dormant, because everyday married life, children and work mean she is constantly overtired. Birgit has given up hope of having children after three miscarriages and four artificial inseminations. Nathalie is currently having an affair with a family man. This triggers a heated debate: Do you have to choose between lust and love, adventure and security at some point? Are lasting relationships even possible without the occasional cheating? Is fidelity an absolute value or is it better to part with ideals than with a partner?

"Sex in the City" was yesterday, today there's "Liebeslügen" at the Theater an der Luegallee - a clever, warm-hearted and wonderfully amoral comedy that pleads for more humor and lightness when it comes to the very serious questions.
